Kevin Webb is a baritone singer and actor. He currently resides in Chicago and has recently earned his Masters in Music from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University where he studied with acclaimed performers Richard Stilwell and Samuel Ramey. Kevin has been heavily involved in opera, operetta, straight theatre, musical theatre, and backstage work for the past ten years.
At the University of Mississippi (where Kevin received his B.M.) along with his heavy involvement in both the music and theatre departments, he co-produced a student theatre company entitled FreeTime?!?! Productions. During his time at UM, the company produced many contemporary theatre works. Kevin was also hired during the summers of 2007, 2008, and 2009 as an intern for the Oxford Shakespeare Festival, performing Gilbert and Sullivan roles as well as Shakespearean roles.
Throughout his undergraduate studies, Kevin enrolled in numerous theatre and dance classes to gain a broader knowledge of acting and how it can be applied to operatic repertoire. Kevin hopes to continue to broaden his experience in music and theatre…and Chicago is the perfect place fulfill that goal.
